Mel Asbury, SPHR, is President of Asbury Consulting LLC and Senior Vice President of The HR Group, an HR consulting and training firm based in Greensboro, NC. With 30+ years of human resources experience, Asbury has held senior HR leadership positions in a broad array of industries from biotech to telecommunications and has worked and consulted with Glaxo SmithKline, Exxon Mobil, IBM, Novant Health and dozens of other companies. Several of the firms in which he led the HR function achieved national and state recognition from “Working Mothers Magazine” and the “Best Places to Work Institute”. “The Catalyst Connection” is an audio “roundtable” discussion podcasts, where consultants and guests of The Jackson Group discuss topics of interest to today’s healthcare managers and leaders.  The podcast has been in production for over a year, with over thirty episodes available.

Episode #31, to be available on April 1st, 2009, will deal specifically with the DriveLeadership program.  The need for such a program will be discussed, as well as what makes DriveLeadership different than other leadership programs in the marketplace.
