Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, Georgia, received its second Laureate Award for Workplace
Excellence in for outstanding scores on the
organization's 2008 Work Climate Survey. The first Laureate Award given
to Meadows was in July, 2007 for 2006 survey results. Over and above the level of scoring
needed to qualify for the Excellence Award, Meadows made a concerted
effort to maintain an exceptional work environment. Meadows Regional Medical Center is a 122-bed facility providing acute and long-term care. Meadows was recognized, in 2002, by the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals as the Hospital of the Year. In 1999, Meadows Regional was named a Top 100 Regional Hospital by HCIA-Sachs.
